This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the All About Vacation website, why we use them, and how you can control them. We keep this short on purpose: we use very little.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, others help a site measure visits or show advertising. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work the same way, and this policy covers them too.
What we use
Functional (always active)
These keep the website working and cannot be switched off. They do not need your consent.
- Your cookie choice: we remember whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we don't ask on every page.
- Security and performance: our platform provider uses technical cookies to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
Booking and payment
When you book, you move to our secure checkout, run by Lodgify. Card payments are processed by Stripe, which sets cookies to prevent fraud and keep your payment safe. We never see or store your full card details. See Stripe's cookie policy.
Maps
Our property and search pages show a Google Maps map so you can see where each home is. Loading the map may send your IP address to Google, so it stays hidden if you click Reject all. To see it, open the cookie preferences on the map panel and save your choice; Analytics can stay off. See Google's privacy policy.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click Allow all, or switch on Analytics under Customize, our website provider Lodgify uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and how people find us. These cookies are set only after you agree. Click Reject all and they are never set. See Google's privacy policy.
Under the same consent, we also use our own Google Analytics property (ID G-NGXL1F26JX) to see which pages lead to a booking. It is switched on only if you allow Analytics cookies, and it is never set if you click Reject all.
We also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
What we don't add
We don't add advertising cookies or ad-tracking pixels, such as the Meta Pixel or Google Ads tags, to this website. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Nothing from those services loads until you click the link. Once you're on their site, their own cookie policies apply.
How to control cookies
When you first visit, the banner lets you choose Allow all, Reject all or Customize. To change your choice later, clear this website's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. If you block the functional ones, parts of the site such as the booking step may not work.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we'll reply as soon as we can. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
