Golden Beach — Chrissi Akti — is the largest sandy beach on Paros and the island's water-sports coast. Wide, open, and reliably breezy in the afternoon, which is exactly why the windsurfers come. It is the opposite of a narrow village bay: there is room here.
Our four homes here are all part of Tonia Apartments, 320 m from the sand — a few minutes on foot. Each one has its own veranda, and Thalassa, Ilios and Ammos look out at the Aegean. They range from 45 m² up to a 92 m² two-bedroom, and sleep 4 or 5.
This is the quieter, more spread-out side of the island, so a car makes life easier — though with the beach a few minutes away you may not move it much. If you have come to Paros for the water rather than the nightlife, this is your coast.
Families who want the beach to be the whole plan, and anyone who came to windsurf, kitesurf or just be in the sea from breakfast onwards.
