Tsoukalia is a wide, undeveloped beach on the north-east coast — no strip of bars, no rows of sunbeds, just the sea. Molos, the next beach along, is ten minutes on foot. If your idea of a good day is an empty beach and nothing scheduled, this is the corner of Paros to look at.
One home here, and it is the one we send families to, for 4 guests at most. Two bedrooms — the master with its own bathroom, and a second room for the children — plus a living room, a full kitchen, a laundry room and a second bathroom.
What makes it is outside. The whole garden is yours: a small shallow pool, a trampoline, a play area and a little volleyball court, under olive and fruit trees and grapevines, with a shaded spot to eat. Nothing here is shared with anyone else.
A car is essential here. The roads are quiet but rough and bumpy in places, so take it slowly, and there is no walking to a supermarket.
Families with young children, and anyone who would rather have a garden than a balcony.
